Lately I've been into the smooth beats of this band, G/L/A/S/S/C/A/N/D/Y introduced to me by my good freind Franky. From their hypnotic beats to their sporatic blogs, this band gripped me the minute I heard their song 'Computer Love.'

Computer Love reminds me of myself, sitting at home on such a saturday night with no one around but me and my puppy.

Bat for Lashes was an accidental meeting since I stumbled upon it looking for CROSSOVER tracks. It is said that the Lashes have been compared to an almost Bjorky feel, but to me I could best describe them as cryptic beats + ET.

YELLE

As far as female french rap artists goes, I prefer YELLE over UFFIE any day. With her first single 'Je Veux Te Voir' composed of lyrics bashing the so-called french rapper Cuizinier such as:
"Cuizinier avec ton petit sexe entoure de poils roux
Je narrive pas a croire que tu puisses croire quon veuille de toi.."
Meaning "Cuizinier with your tiny dick hidden in your red pubic hair, how can you think we'd possibly desire you?" [translation by A. Sanchez] YELLE packs quite a punch.
